Kenya Jones Prior Hates Bon Temps?!

In fact when Kenya Jones Prior moved to Bon Temps, she made her displeasure known, telling many fellow deputies, “Bon Temps was nothing but a back water hill billy town.”

She also tried several times over the last ten years to transfer to other police departments, stating she had “enough of Bon Temps and the people in it”

So why is Kenya Jones Prior running for office of a town she cannot stand?

President Obama and Gov Jindal offer their support

President Obama said of Sheriff Bellefleur, “Andy is a good man with a clear vision of how he wants to run his town. Andy is a small town man with big dreams and hopes for the citizens of Bon Temps. It is my pleasure and honor to stand behind him as he runs for re-election.”

Gov Bobby Jindal said of Sheriff Bellefleur, “Andy runs a tight ship down in Bon Temps, he cares about the citizens of Bon Temps and the surrounding parishes. His solve rate speaks volumes, it proves his dedication to his job and his community. I proudly stand behind Andy.”
Endorsements:
“There isn’t anyone else in my opinion that cares more for this town than Andy. When my Bike went missing he combed the streets for it, Kenya rolled her eyes at me and said she had better things to do. Andy found my bike for me, I know just how far he is willing to go for his towns people. So that’s why I am voting for Sheriff Andy Bellefleur.”
Paul “Pee Wee” Thompson
Owner of Pee Wee’s Bike shop
“When I moved from California a few months ago, I got into a accident with my beloved Delorean. Andy showed up on the scene and really impressed me with how he really cared how I was, even if I did crash my car into the town hall. Mrs. Jones on the other hand, lectured me and told me where I was going, I wouldn’t need roads. I really do not think that’s the way people ought to be treated. So I will be voting for Sheriff Bellefleur”
Doc Emmet Brown
“Andy always walks me across the street, such a good boy. He is always getting my Fluffy out of the tree and stopping by just to say hello. More than I can say for sour puss Jones. I will  be voting for Andy”
Edna Snodgrass
“Now at my age, I aint lookin to vote. However Andy Bellefleur is a good kid. Used ta mow my lawn with Marvin Bodehouse in high school. Ain’t Andy’s fault his Grandmama is a cheat at poker. Imma Vote for him”

Andy believes in community, he believes that by talking to the people and hearing their needs and wants is the only way to operate as Sheriff

The Sheriff is committed to you!!

Sheriff Andy Bellefleur remains committed to keeping Renard Parish citizens and their neighborhoods safe. Good law enforcement has only one fundamental goal: keeping the public safe. People are entitled to a sense of personal safety at all times. They should feel safe at work, home, and play. We must always honor this obligation, says Sheriff Bellefleur.

Keeping our children safe is a major priority. Sheriff Bellefleur established a School Police Officer Program in 2009 in response to a national and local trend of rising juvenile crime. Officers were placed in the Bon Temps, Clarice and Grainger high schools. Since then officers have been placed in all public schools serving Renard Parish.

Sheriff Andy Bellefleur has always observed the basic principles of public service as an elected official:

  • Personal and professional integrity: holding public office means protecting the public trust at all times, in all matters, whether personal or professional.

  • Dedication to duty: the Office of Sheriff is a demanding position and a great responsibility. The Sheriff must be willing and able to work long hours, make difficult decisions, and stand firm in the face of controversy.

  • Experience to handle the position: law enforcement today is more complex than ever. A successful Sheriff must have the right combination of street experience, training and administrative experience to handle the job. Andy Bellefleur has 15 years of service at the Renard Parish Sheriff’s Office.

  • The Sheriff must have strong leadership skills: Andy Bellefleur is a proven leader at both the local and regional level. He heads the largest law enforcement agency in three parishes. He has been elected Sheriff twice. And in 2010, Renard Parish was runner up for the North Louisiana Safe Streets award.

Protecting our community and its citizens is an obligation Sheriff Bellefleur has proven that he is capable of, and is ready to continue after his re-election.

Andy Bellefleur Is working for you!!

As the Sheriff, Andy is charged with ensuring the safety and security of the citizens of Bon Temps by enforcing the law, housing persons incarcerated by the courts, maintaining the security of the county courthouse, serving civil and criminal documents, evictions, seizure of property or money as ordered by the courts, and pursuing and arresting fugitives from legal actions taken through the courts, and assisting other law enforcement agencies.

It is Sheriff Bellefleur’s desire to create a professional yet personal relationship with the citizens of Bon Temps in order to serve their needs and improve every aspect of the law enforcement services he provides.

“My deputies and I are working around the clock to ensure that your safety is our main priority. I believe in accountability and demand that my deputies demonstrate integrity and professionalism while carrying out their sworn duties. I manage the budget by doing more with less, and I understand that every dollar spent to operate the Sheriff’s Office and protect the court is coming from the tax payers. Being a good steward of your hard earned tax dollars means that my office is working smarter and applying critical thinking when solving our problems. We avoided duplicate services and pool resources through collaborative efforts with other law enforcement agencies.

The programs that my deputies operate bolster our overall efforts to address some of the root causes of crime, prevent crime from happening, and arrest those who break the law. I am proactive in my approach to protecting and serving the community because you deserve the best and the peace of mind, knowing that we are protecting and serving Bon temps. I know that having a safe community to live in, raise a family, go to work and school in is what makes life easier and Bon Temps better.” Sheriff Andy Bellefleur

Kenya Jones was always Bossy and a Bully

Says her old babysitter Ida May Fisher.

Ida May was responsible for keeping an eye on Kenya before and after school, as well as her two brothers Edwin and Derek. “Edwin was a great kid, studious, polite, future leader written all over him. Derek was the clown, that boy was always into something”, Ida May recalls fondly. “Now kenya..that girl had a chip a mile long on her shoulder. Nothing ever satisfied her and the girl was bossy too! She was bossing her older brothers around by the time she was 4 years old. Lets not even mention how she had her daddy wrapped around her finger. That child was a born dictator, which is why I plan on voting for Andy Bellefleur this election. I don’t need someone telling me what’s good for me, I want a say in how my community is run!”

We hit the streets of Bossier city where Kenya grew up and spoke to her former classmates:

“Kenya was always telling me what to do, when I found out she became a police woman I wasn’t surprised. I remember when she became hall monitor in junior high, if you so much as dropped a piece of paper on the ground she drug you into the principals office. I remember one time she had 20 kids waiting for the principal.”

Gus Barnaby

Kenya Jones Prior at age 13

“Kenya was captain of the cheerleading squad, she was brutal, she would make us practice till we couldn’t even walk. I’ve known her my whole life and she’s always been bossy. No surprise she’s a cop.”

Jenny Killpatrick

Is this the kind of person Bon Temps needs? Someone who would rather tell the people what to do, than get their input?

We think not, Vote for Andy Bellefleur.  For the people!!!

Vote For Andy Bellefleur a name you can trust

Hello Ladies and Gentleman,

I’d like y’all to consider re-electing me this February. Now I know many of you are asking, why Andy? Why should we? We all know Kenya Jones seems like a better fit. That’s where you’re wrong. Kenya Jones is a fine policewoman, but she doesn’t know Bon Temps the way I do.

From the time I was 3 years old I knew one day I was gonna be a cop. Not any cop but a Bon Temps cop. I grew up idolizing Bud Dearborn. When I joined the force shortly after I graduated from the Community College in Monroe, he became my mentor. I saw how much he loved this small town. The blood, sweat and tears he put in as Sheriff and I knew that if I got that opportunity one day I’d be just like him.

I know that things have been rocky this past year. There has been a crime wave in our small town. However, I promise that if re-lected I will turn Bon Temps into the respectable tiny, quiet, safe haven it was. A town where you could go out after dark and feel safe. Where parents let their children run around playing tag and catching fireflies at night.

As a man about to become a father, for the first time, I worry about the future of Bon Temps. I want my daughter to have the safe, fun upbringing that I did.

I may not use fancy words or gimmicks but I swear, by all I hold holy and sacred, that I will clean up this town and turn it back into a place we can all be proud of.

Sincerly

Andrew Joseph Bellefleur
